RN - Hubbard Hospice House & Hubbard Hospice House West
Full-time, 36 hours/week, Non-exempt
Days/Weekends/Rotating shifts at both HHH and HHH-W
Position Summary: Provides skilled nursing care and psychosocial support
to patient / families at the Hubbard Hospice House and Hubbard Hospice
House-West. Performs other related duties as required.
Position Qualifications: Graduate from an approved school of professional
nursing. Current unrestricted WV license to practice as a registered nurse. Two
years of professional nursing experience in hospice/home health preferred.
Physical Demands/Work Environment: Visual & hearing acuity sufficient
to auscultate BP, hear verbal instructions and communication from clients,
respond to emergency alarms, and answer the telephone. Must be able to deal
effectively with stress, patients and their families, multiple tasks, noise,
interruptions, and emotional loss, and to work cooperatively with other
members of the interdisciplinary team while maintaining a pleasant and
professional demeanor.

Patient Care Assistant
Per Diem (as needed) Non-exempt
Days/Other Shifts PRN
Position Summary: Performs a variety of clerical support duties associated
with the maintenance, updating and organizing of information and patient
care operations. Performs other related duties as required.
Position Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required with
one year of related office experience. Proficient in clerical abilities related to
typing, filing and use of computer software and basic office machines. Must
have excellent interpersonal skills. Knowledge of medical terminology and
durable medical equipment is preferred.
Physical Demands/Work Environment: Work is normally performed
in a typical interior/office work environment. Ability to concentrate on
moderate details with frequent interruptions, attend to specific functions
for 10-25 minutes, remember multiple tasks and assignments over an
8-12 hour period, and understand and relate specific ideas and concepts.
Deal effectively with stress, patients and their families, multiple tasks, noise,
interruptions, and emotional loss, and to work cooperatively with other
members of the interdisciplinary team while maintaining a pleasant and
professional demeanor.
