RN - Hubbard Hospice House & Hubbard Hospice House West
Full-time, 36 hours/week, Non-exempt
Nights/Weekends/Rotating shifts at both HHH and HHH-W
Position Summary: Provides skilled nursing care and psychosocial support
to patient / families at the Hubbard Hospice House and Hubbard Hospice
House-West. Performs other related duties as required.
Position Qualifications: Graduate from an approved school of professional
nursing. Current unrestricted WV license to practice as a registered nurse.
Two years of professional nursing experience in hospice/home health
preferred.
Physical Demands/Work Environment: Visual & hearing acuity sufficient
to auscultate BP, hear verbal instructions and communication from clients,
respond to emergency alarms, and answer the telephone. Must be able to
deal effectively with stress, patients and their families, multiple tasks, noise,
interruptions, and emotional loss, and to work cooperatively with other
members of the interdisciplinary team while maintaining a pleasant and
professional demeanor.

LPN - CC
Full-time, 40 hours/week, Non-exempt, Nights/Rotating shifts
Position Summary: Provides nursing care and other support services to
patients and families in the home setting for an extended period of time.
Nursing care and support is based on interdisciplinary plan of care under
the direction of a Registered Nurse. Participates in on-call and PRN visits as
requested by Nursing Supervisor. Performs other related duties as required.
Position Qualifications: Current unrestricted WV license to practice as a
Licensed Practical Nurse. Minimum of one year nursing experience. Hospice,
public health, or home nursing experience preferred. Current driver’s license,
reliable transportation, and valid automobile insurance required.
Physical Demands/Work Environment: Must be able to travel to and
access patient homes where conditions may be adverse due to weather,
environment or patients’ lifestyles. Must be able to continuously stand and
walk, frequently squat, climb stairs, bend to the floor, reach over the
shoulder, kneel, twist, sit, lift/transfer patients*, and remain in
uncomfortable positions for prolonged periods of time. (*A patient lift is
generally supportive in nature. A total patient lift function is outside of the
normal work requirement) Must have visual acuity sufficient to continuously
note changes in patient condition (breathing, color, skin integrity) and to
read a thermometer, sphygmomanometer dial, and other instruments.
Must have hearing acuity sufficient to auscultate BP, hear verbal instructions
and communication from clients, respond to emergency alarms, and answer
the telephone. Must be able to concentrate on moderate details with
frequent interruptions, attend to specific functions for 10-25 minutes,
remember multiple tasks and assignments over an 8-12 hour period, and
understand and relate specific ideas and concepts. Must be able to deal
effectively with stress, patients and their families, multiple tasks, noise,
interruptions, and emotional loss, and to work cooperatively with other
members of the interdisciplinary team while maintaining a pleasant and
professional demeanor.

CNA - Peyton Hospice House, Lewisburg
Full-time, 36 hours/week, Non-exempt
Nights/Weekends/Rotating shifts
Position Summary: Provides personal care to patients including bathing,
turning, ROM, feeding, toileting, mouthcare, & bed making at Peyton Hospice
House in Lewisburg. Supports patients and families emotionally. Performs
other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications: Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing. One
year of hospital or nursing home experience preferred. Good communication
skills. Experience with terminally ill preferred.

Accounting Associate
Full Time/40-hours Non-exempt
Days/Other Shifts as needed
Position Summary: Responsible to the Director of Finance for the overall
coordination and management of Patient Accounts Receivable and all related
activities that include data entry, billing, the application of applicable
insurance to patient accounts, contacts with insurance companies and
governmental agencies and the adherence to proper balancing procedures.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent with 3 years
of related experience is required. Computer experience with automated
systems and with relevant computer software is required. Experience in
medical billing, particularly in the areas of Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance is preferred.
Physical Demands/Work Environment: Work is normally performed in
a typical interior/office work environment. Ability to concentrate on
moderate details with frequent interruptions, attend to specific functions
for 10-25 minutes, remember multiple tasks and assignments over an
8-12 hour period, and understand and relate specific ideas and concepts.
