HospiceCare provides quality end-of-life care to residents in 16 counties across Central West Virginia. Experiencing steady growth since it's founding in 1979, HospiceCare operates its main office and the Elizabeth Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston, the new Hubbard House West in at Thomas Hospital in South Charleston, and a Boone County Office in Madison. Since merging with Greenbrier Valley Hospice in October 2005, HospiceCare also now operates offices in Lewisburg and Summersville.
Despite the name change, Greenbrier hospice patients and their families can now benefit from being part of a larger organization. Most notably, HospiceCare provides its patients with "a home away from home" at the Hubbard Hospice House, the state’s first full-service hospice facility located in Charleston.
While we have experienced steady growth and many changes over the past three decades, our experienced staff and the compassionate, personal services we provide have remained the same, consistently exceeding national standards of excellence in physician and patient satisfaction. HospiceCare offers you peace of mind in knowing that your patients will be receiving the same excellent care and attention we have built our reputation on for more than 30 years.
We look forward to serving you, your patients and their families, and giving them a choice at a time when options are limited. HospiceCare works hard to provide comfort and peace at a difficult time of life. It is about living.
