Position Summary:
- Provides physical therapy services as ordered by the physician for Home Health of WV.
- The Physical Therapist (PT) provides consultation to the clinical team.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Position Qualifications:
- Graduate from an approved school of physical therapy.
- Current unrestricted WV license to practice as a Physical therapist.
Physical Demands / Work Environment:
- Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients up to 50 pounds independently and over 50 pounds with assistance.
- Frequent standing and walking for extended periods (8–12 hour per shift).
- Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching.
- Ability to push and pull equipment (e.g., wheelchairs, stretchers, and medication carts).
- Visual acuity to read medication labels, physician orders, and monitors.
