We understand that coping with a serious or terminal illness is a very difficult experience, not only for the patient, but for everyone involved. HospiceCare is pleased to offer expanded grief & loss support services to our community though The Wallace Grief Support & Education Center. Here, grieving people can freely express themselves in a safe and supportive environment on their journey of healing.
Grief Support for Adults
Adult grief support services are offered individually and in a group setting for grief due to the loss of a spouse, child, parent, grandparent, sibling, friend, relative or significant other.
Grief Support for Children and Teens
Individual counseling and support groups are offered for children, ages 4-12, and teens, ages 13-19. Our facility is equipped with a large children’s therapy room, designed specifically with children in mind to let them process their grief through expressive art therapy, play therapy, group therapy, and audio-visual media.
