Peyton Hospice House is an 8-bed facility located in Lewisburg, WV. The newest facility in our network, this building opened in 2014 to serve patients in the eastern part of our state and surrounding areas. Families, including children, are welcome anytime. Nestled in the heart of the Greenbrier Valley, the Peyton Hospice House provides a peaceful retreat for patients and families.

The Peyton Hospice House serves patients who:
  • Require more intensive, skilled medical care than can be provided in their home or place of residence
  • Need respite care to give their family a short rest from providing care at home
  • Do not have a caregiver in the home, or can no longer safely live alone
Amenities include:
  • Large, private patient rooms, each with its own bathroom, refrigerator, TV, phone and comfortable seating
  • Great room with fireplace, kitchen and plenty of comfortable seating
  • Chapel
  • Children’s play room
  • Public access computer for internet use
  • Free guest Wi-Fi
Nurses and certified nursing assistants are available around the clock to provide care. Social workers, counselors and chaplains provide the counseling and spiritual needs of the patient and families. Our doctors regularly visit the patients and are on-call 24 hours a day. Volunteers are also available to make the patient and families as comfortable as possible.
