Jessica Hall has more than a decade of experience in communications, specializing in the fields of hospice, advocacy, and community development. Currently serving as the Director of Communications & Development for HospiceCare and Executive Director of the Hospice Council of West Virginia, Jessica has demonstrated exceptional leadership and expertise in her roles.

Jessica’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications & History from Denison University, followed by a Master’s degree from Georgetown University in Communication, Culture & Technology. Her academic background and practical experience has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of effective communication strategies in diverse settings.

A native of Charleston, Jessica’s dedication to her hometown and state is evident through her active involvement in various community initiatives. She serves on the board of the Kanawha Charleston Humane Association and the Partners in Health Network Grant Committee, exemplifying her commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of others. In addition to her local contributions, Jessica also serves as a MyHospice Ambassador, advocating for hospice care at the national level.

Recognitions and awards include the PRSA Young Professional of the Year award in 2015, The State Journal’s Generation Next: 40 Under 40 honor in 2021, and induction into the WV Executive’s Young Guns Class of 2024. She is also a member of the 2017 class of Leadership West Virginia.

Jessica is passionate about hospice, and is always looking for opportunities to educate others on the wonderful benefits of hospice care.
